Making Connections
The Making Connections Campaign has officially ‘broken ground’. On Tuesday October 16th local officials and members of the business community gathered at Crayton Blvd. to celebrate the beginning of the first Making Connections project. These projects are the result of public/private partnerships created to promote new development and increase growth opportunities in Washington County.
Bowman Development will be involved with three out of four Making Connections projects:
Crayton Boulevard– Connects Maugans Avenue and Showalter Road
Colonel Henry K. Douglas Drive– Connects Sharpsburg Pike to Alt. U.S. 40
Halfway Boulevard– Connects MD-63 to Newgate Boulevard

Official UEC Groundbreaking
The Washington County Board of Education held an official groundbreaking for the new Urban Educational Campus in Downtown Hagerstown! In attendance were Barbara Ingram students, local dignitaries, Bowman Development staff and Governor Hogan. Bowman Development is proud to be part of this project and we look forward to overseeing the design and construction over the next few years.

Downtown Construction Live Feed
The Herald Mail, Antietam Broadband and Bowman Development are teaming up to present a Live Feed of two downtown revitalization projects. You’ll be able to follow the Maryland Theatre project and our Urban Educational Campus project through their entirety. This project is the first of its kind where $40 Million Dollars is being invested by both public and private entities. We hope you decide to follow along as we work to revitalize downtown Hagerstown!
