20 years ago on January 12, 1999 we celebrated the opening of the first Newgate Warehouse. The 360,000 warehouse was built to give Washington County the ability to attract distribution jobs. Fast forward to present day and we’re finishing up a 504,200 SF addition also known as Newgate II.

It’s hard to believe that our Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel has been open for over 10 years now. We personally think it’s one of the prettiest hotels around. However, after many years of wear and tear from serving guests and to maintain brand standards it was time for a remodel.

Newgate II added 504,200 SF of warehouse space to the existing 360,000 SF. We are able to build an additional 158,492 SF, 8 months from signed lease.

Due to new regulations, truckers are finding it difficult to find adequate truck parking. Bowman Development will address this problem and open a paid truck lot in 2019. The truck lot will be located at Interstate 81 Exit 5 next to the Pilot Gas Station. Truckers will be provided with a secure lot and access to the full service Pilot Gas Station including McDonalds and Subway restaurants. More information on booking reservations will be provided as soon as the systems are in place.
